From the hair and makeup artist, Taylor, (who did such a great job and even did Hannah’s hair and makeup for prom), to Jilane for taking the time to choose Hannah’s wardrobe, props, and coming up with new ideas for poses and locations, we never had to worry about a thing. They made the whole process fun and exciting, and made every photo look stunning. They also did the photos for Hannah’s group of friends for prom, and even the most camera-shy of them had an amazing time in front of the camera!

When it came to choosing the photos, CJ had put together a great slide show and talked us through each picture helping us choose the ones we loved the most (which needless to say, was a major undertaking with the sheer amount of photos to choose from)! Never once did we feel pressured or hurried through the whole process from beginning to end. When our order came in CJ hand delivered to to our home an hour away from the studio (and if that doesn’t deserve a 5-star review, then I don’t know what does)!

From the minute we arrived, we knew this day would be magical. Addie was given the royal treatment, getting her make-up applied and hair styled to perfection while viewing the beautiful Northwoods scenery. She had indoor and outdoor time, props were used, and the transitions between sets and outfits were seamless. She never felt rushed, and Jilane took her time while putting customized spins on the pictures to capture not only Addie’s external beauty, but her internal spirit as well.

The reason we chose Resolution for Alex‘s senior pictures was because of their cutting edge photography. CJ has unique ideas and personalizes his sessions to his clients. For those people who know Ashley they would describe her as sweet, quiet and reserved. She doesn’t really wear make up, she’s beautiful with or without it, she likes to throw her hair up in a bun and go and clothes really don’t matter to her. She likes simple. So when it was time for her senior pictures I started to worry. We talked about what we wanted to get out of her picture day. We didn’t want to have Ashley look or dress differently than what she is use to. We wanted someone to capture who Ashley is as a person.

Ashley had a few friends who had gone to Resolution in the past and so after looking at many photographers, their packages, prices and availability we decided that Resolution stood out from all the rest. Ashley really wanted outdoor pictures and we just loved some of the previous senior pictures that Resolution had done. We looked them up and saw that they offered a couple of packages that include hair and makeup and picked the expedition session. We booked our appointment online and had gotten a call from C.J to go over what to bring and our expectations. He was very kind and really made us feel relaxed.
When we got there the make up artist was AWESOME! She talked to Ashley a lot and made her feel very comfortable, and Ashley looked stunning. Jilane had helped Ashley pick out a couple of outfits and really made her feel comfortable as she was taking pictures. Ashley was enjoying every single moment, which made all my fears disappear. By the end of the evening Ashley had told me how much fun she had had and that if the sun wasn’t setting she would have loved to keep going.
I honestly cannot complain about any of the pictures that were taken. It took everything I had to hold back tears when we had gone in to pick out pictures. They made it so easy to narrow down over 70 pictures taken that day. We look forward to taking our other two children to Resolution when they are seniors and I will recommend their talents to our family and friends. My experience at Resolution was unforgettable and their photos will forever be treasured. Being a model was one of the coolest experiences ever! I got to meet a bunch of other girls from other schools and take amazing pictures! Going all around in the limo was priceless and being able to share that experience with new friends from my school, and new friends form other schools was great. Along with great memories of that day, I have more beautiful photos to go along with it. Being a model, my themed shoot was totally unique and priceless. I arrived and everything was there ready for our shoot. I got to get all dolled up like a Victorian queen, along with the dress and take amazing photos!! It was so fun and the pictures came out like I truly was a queen in the medieval times. Finally, my senior photo shoot was easy as well. I had outfits picked out for what I wanted to wear and Jilane was able to pick backgrounds that went with everything and get amazing shots that I got to share with the rest of my family. My older sister had her photos done by Resolution Photography two years prior and had an excellent experience so naturally I booked there also. However, she was the opposite of me, she was so excited with tons of outfits and had many photo ideas. Me, on the other hand, only had a few outfits with very little ideas. The only thing I knew I wanted was colorful fall leaves in the background which are my favorite.

As for time, we never felt hurried and Jilane and CJ gave us plenty of location options for Riley’s portraits. In the end, we had so many beautiful pictures, it was difficult to choose the right ones. CJ however did a very good job of narrowing it down and in the end, we couldn’t be happier with the beautiful portraits that now adorn our fireplace. Resolution was a little further away from our house but the drive was worth it as they have some beautiful spots right on their property to take great pictures plus CJ was more then willing to travel back to Tanner’s high school to get pictures on the football field which was a priority for him. On our way to the field CJ pulled over to a spot above the highway to snap some shots. We were only there for about ten minutes but those ended up being some of our favorites. Very urban and edgy.

Our appointment to view the pictures was set up within a week of the shoot. We knew CJ took a lot of pictures and I thought picking out which prints we wanted was going to be a difficult and long process but CJ made it a very fun easy experience. We were done in about an hour and very happy with our selections. I was surprised a week later when CJ called to say he would be in town and he’d hand deliver our order. Their costumer service goes above and beyond!

On set, the photoshoots are always so fun! To give you an idea of “fun,” I have done all-day photoshoots with Resolution and typically after all-day shoots, your feet hurt, your tired, and usually feeling drained, but when it comes to shooting with CJ and Jilane, your energy is always consistent and your happiness is truly genuine. I’m not sure how they do it, but I have never met photographers who can make it look “sunny and 75” with snow in the background, me genuinely laughing while standing in freezing cold water, while wearing a sundress – in the end, it was one of my favorite Senior Pictures.
I am fortunate enough to say Resolution has created some of my best portfolio shots, headshots, senior portraits, action shots, and so many more. Once Jilane started to work with Lexie, you could tell her emotions became at ease. We could tell that Lexie was loving the spotlight that CJ and Jilane were putting her in. My mother and I were very entertained while watching Lexie get her photos taken also. We were able to go to so many different places, which fulfilled Lexie’s idea she had in her head of her senior portraits. Towards the end of the night, we went to our last site. It was very dark, but with the lighting that CJ and Jilane had, we were able to make it look like day light. By the end of the of the evening we had a lot of laughs, smiles, and one happy teenager very excited to see her pictures. I was so impressed with the out of the box ideas that you normally don’t get at a traditional photography studio.

About a week later, we got to go view Lexie’s pictures. Lexie, along with her father and myself, went to view her pictures. At the very beginning CJ turned on the large television screen and started a slideshow of Lexie’s photos. Of course, CJ had set out snacks and drinks to make us feel comfortable. Lexie’s father and myself teared up in the awe of our daughter. We had never truly realized how beautiful she was until we saw her pictures. CJ had the perfect system to help us narrow down our choices, which was incredibly difficult even with the system. Lexie couldn’t stop smiling the whole time, which can be assumed to be a happy teenager. After a long journey of picking out the perfect portraits, we selected our prints for our family and home. Our favorite choice was the metal print we got for our living room wall. When the pictures got delivered, (yes, CJ delivered them to our house) we were so amazed by the way that the metal print looked. The other pictures also looked amazing. . The whole experience we had with CJ and Jilane was absolutely a wonderful experience and defiantly worth investing into. I have never met a more fun, professional couple! I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with this wonderful couple.. I would recommend then to everyone for any of their Photography needs. I sure know if I need any in the future I will be back!!!

All the time she was getting photographed she was made to feel special, it was never a hurry up and get done session. It was more of Resolution took the time during all the sessions to ensure superior quality photos and at locations where we wanted. For example, we prefer photo shoots in the studio, so that is where the bulk of her pictures were taken. We even brought in a picture from a magazine so Ashlynn could imitate it, Resolution was more than happy to have Ashlynn pose in a similar fashion. Again, it turned out spectacular.

We paid a lot more money for my older daughters senior pictures taken elsewhere, than we did at Resolution and the results were the same. We got the exact same quality at Resolution without spending a fortune. We definitely got our money’s worth. It was a pleasure working with CJ and Jilane. If I ever had any quick questions, I simply sent a text to CJ and he was able to text me right back. During the dance shoot, Jilane showed Morgan the pictures on her camera to make sure she was happy before we moved on. She did an amazing job of keeping the shoot fun and relaxed in order to capture Morgan’s natural beauty and personality. We viewed her proofs within a week and once our order was ready CJ delivered right to our home. We have a variety of images that we will cherish for a lifetime.

CJ and Jilane have the most inspired and unique ideas when it comes to bringing out the personality of the seniors they take pictures of. They can connect with the students and make them feel completely comfortable while having a blast during their photo sessions. I have seen them in action and admire their unending energy and upbeat, innovative creativity. For example, it was going to start to rain for Sylvia’s photo shoot and I feared we would have to reschedule. Instead, they took Sylvia outside and took some of the coolest impromptu photos with the clouds as a background. Awesome!
I felt completely at ease having Resolution take these important pictures for my girls. I could tell they not only are experienced and highly qualified, they have state-of-the-art equipment and run a very professional company. I feel lucky to have found Resolution for my daughter’s senior pictures and have highly recommended them to many friends and family.

When I walked into the doors of Resolution Photography, I knew I was going to love every moment of my senior photo shoot! CJ and Jilane’s warming personalities and the incredible scenery inside and out of the studio really made things easy to adapt to. They didn’t make me feel like a customer, but more like a friend. Having conversations with me to get to know me and asking me questions about my life made me feel even more relaxed and comfortable with the shoot. When they began taking photos, I loved all of their ideas and the fact that they asked me for my own input and ideas as well. Within my images they captured not only my face but my personality too. After looking at the website I was intrigued and impressed. The scope of what Resolution does in photography is certainly more than what I expected. It isn’t just that they can do both inside and outside senior photos. But the variety and scope of what they can do is so impressive and amazing – senior photos, family photos, wedding photos, nature photos, location photos, sports photos and the list goes on and on. I was finally sold after meeting Jilane and CJ, getting to know them and how creative they are. I knew with their combined talent we could get everything my daughter and I wanted out of her senior photos without compromising on anything. Resolution offers so many photography options to capture in a unique and beautiful way the people and things you want to celebrate and hold on to. Resolution Photography far exceeded our expectations with their services and finished product! We were looking for a unique photographer who could truly capture the personality of both my Senior and her horse. We weren’t looking for the every day “cookie cutter” type photos for our daughter. We set up two individual photo shoots so we could spend all the time we needed to achieve the results we were looking for. I would have to say that Resolution Photography hit it out of the park with their images!!! My daughter was pampered with hair and make-up service and truly felt like a queen for the day! They were able to give us the most gorgeous photographs to have for a lifetime. To say we had a hard time choosing from ALL the beautiful images would be an understatement. There were so so many images and various shots we could pick from. I discovered CJ and Jilane through their epic sports posters and I thought “wow they are amazing” so I had to get my sons in there! Three graduated boys later I am so glad I choose them, I love to show my sons off to everyone/ The experience with them was so awesome, they’re stylish and such sweet people with creative ideas! CJ is pretty funny also and the music they play in the studio makes you wanna dance. The whole studio is welcoming and when you first see your child on the big screen you’ll feel so proud! Tagging along with the photo shoots was so much fun and trying to find outfits for the theme was actually easier than I expected. Our entire experience with Resolution Studios, and all of the photo sessions Haley was a part of, far exceeded our expectations for “senior pictures”. It started with the Top Model selection process where she was able to choose a few other “shoots” around the area and even though she could only make a few of them because of her busy schedule, it was a lot of fun and got her warmed-up and gave all the girls a little bit of practice. I could see that it got everyone a bit more comfortable in front of the camera.

Both Jillane and CJ are such experts, not only with the camera, settings, locations and creative ideas but with how to bring out the best out in their subjects. And even though they had great ideas of their own they were always so excited and happy to work with any ideas that we brought in. I know Haley was always made to feel at ease and more than that, special and beautiful and a part of the Resolution family. This definitely shows in the amazing shots she got! In my career I often work with professional photographers in a much larger urban area in another state and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find outstanding photographers and someone who would think a little out of the box for creative pictures. But what I found at Resolution was an entire program and ultimate professionals on the same level as the pros I work with…how lucky we are to have Jillane & CJ in our northern Wisconsin community. When I first met CJ and Jilane I knew we were in excellent hands. They’re outgoing, friendly, helpful personalities eliminated any pre-appointment stress that we may have had and within moments we were completely at ease. My daughter chose the hair and makeup package which allowed us just to show up with clothes and not worry about a thing. Jilane was very helpful putting the outfits together and did not overlook any detail such as accessories and jewelry. CJ listened to my ideas and turned them into amazing images. I enjoyed watching my daughter being photographed, she is normally shy and introverted, but during the shoot she was absolutely beaming; she looked radiant! CJ and Jilane easily brought this side of her to life and I could tell she was enjoying herself. I always knew my daughter was gorgeous but I could see she felt confident, special, and beautiful. I was excited to see her pose with her cat Noa. Much to my surprise the cat was relaxed and she seemed to enjoy the photo shoot as much as my daughter.
When we returned to view the proofs they were breathtaking. My daughter’s radiance, confidence, and beauty where captured exactly the way I saw her during the photo shoot.
